Tinker Food Truck is Opening Brick & Mortar on South Main Street
Huge news coming out now as the wildly popular Tinker Food Truck has announced they are launching a brick and mortar location on South Main Street in Downtown Gainesville some time in October. The truck recently closed temporarily to concentrate on getting the space up and running. As of right now, the plan is to expand the already delicious (and insanely rich) menu of Venezuelan favorites at the physical location. Once things are running smoothly, they plan on bringing the food truck back out to its previous location on 34th and Archer and operate both.
As of right now, they've asked me not to disclose the actual location, but seating and parking will not be an issue. They are definitely joining a hot area with Luke's New York Bagel Shop and Halo Potato Donuts also nearby. This is another big restaurant location announcement as part of the mass reincarnation of the Gainesville food scene, shaped by COVID-19. While a number of long time players and already-struggling places have closed or will close, we're seeing a slew of new announcements.
