Halo Potato Donuts to Temporarily Close

If you're hankering for some of Halo Potato Donuts's ridiculously moisty moist donuts, you'll have to wait...about five weeks, to be exact. Earlier today, the beloved donut food truck announced on social media that effective immediately, they will be closing in order to focus on building out a brick and mortar location on South Main Street. The goal is to be open by the end of October. The new space will enable them to add more flavors, produce more donuts consistently, and avoid having to close due to weather or truck breakdowns.

I'm told that the tentative plan is to open Wednesdays through Sundays once the new location launches, with their iconic truck "Angel" parked out front to serve. The plan is to potentially add a second truck dedicated to events as well! While it's sad to see them close down for the next month or so, it's exciting times and the natural next steps for any successful food truck business.

You guys are going to like what's to come. I'll be sharing some exclusive scoops as the space gets built out! But for now, I'll just have to think about those moisty moist cookies and cream donuts that are just so...moist....mmmm....moist....
