3 Exciting New Restaurant Openings
To make up for my little April Fool’s Joke on Cheesecake Factory, I wanted to drop three very exciting news nuggets for you guys. These kind of snuck up on everyone. And no, we are not getting a Cheesecake Factory at the moment at least…there is no interest in opening here, and any rumors you are hearing are false. I’m sorry.
-Keke’s Breakfast Café in Butler North is open for business starting tomorrow, April 4th. It’s an unannounced opening. Known for their brunch, I know a lot you are excited for this one. They are located off Clark Butler Boulevard across the street from the new Longhorn. Service begins at 7 AM and runs until 2:30 PM. Enjoy! To find out more about upcoming openings in the Butler area, make sure you follow Shop at Butler.
-A new ramen joint called Electric Ramen is opening soon in the old The Jones location at 401 NE 23rd Street. Owner Kon Ying said his first foray into the restaurant business will be holding a soft opening some time next week with a limited menu of spicy and non-spicy shoyu, miso, and buns. Prices are expected to be about $8 a bowl. Tentative hours will be 11 AM to 3 PM every day.
-Do-Lish, a bakery that’s capitalizing on the raw cookie dough trend is opening its doors soon at 1113 W University Avenue in the coming week. They will be serving heat-treated, eggless cookie dough that is completely safe to eat much like the popular Cookie Do bakery in New York City. Who doesn’t want an ice cream cone completely filled with cookie dough? I know I do.
