Shirt Sale Benefitting Bread of the Mighty Food Bank

November 17, 2015

I wanted to take a moment to announce something really cool, if you read or share one thing I write, let this one be it. I do a lot of yapping on here, but I wanted to do something to give back to the town I love so much. That's why I've partnered with Shirts Are Cool, a local t-shirt company known for other wonderfully-Gainesville shirts like "McElwinning" and "I Bleed Orange and Booze" to do some good this holiday season. Together, we came up with this shirt.

Between now and Christmas Day, ALL of the proceeds from the sale of these shirts...and I mean ALL of it, will go towards benefiting Bread of the Mighty Food Bank. If you are unfamiliar, they are a wonderful local non-profit that distributed over 6 million pounds of food to families across five North Florida counties in 2014. This is an organization where 97 cents of every $1 goes directly to the community. Not a penny will be going in my pocket or the wonderful folks at Shirts Are Cool. Our goal is to make the holiday season a little better for area families in need, while spreading a positive message to eat at our many wonderful local restaurants.

The shirts are available for purchase now on the link below, or if you'd like to learn more about Bread of the Mighty (or donate directly), please visithttps://www.breadofthemighty.org/ I hope you all will join me in doing so, whether it be purchasing a shirt, donating to the cause, or simply sharing this post. You're all awesome!
